I like surprises - I have a difficult time understanding people who don't. Life isn't a series of moments to be controlled - relax - have fun - in the end it will all work out. Part of being an artist is being able to go with the flow... letting the paint do as it will and to try not to control every drip and drop... this piece is a perfect example of how I had to learn to let go. The aging product I used changed the vision I had for this piece within the first 30 seconds of starting to paint!!! Fate? Happy accident? "Coincidence"?
